CROWDER, Okla., (KXII) – Two Construction workers were hit by a car in Pittsburg County Tuesday.

Troopers said it happened around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on Blocker and Hickory Hill road in Crowder.

Troopers said the 84-year-old driver failed to stop for traffic control workers in a construction zone and hit two of the workers.

Troopers said the cause of the crash was inattentive driving.

One of the men, 25-year-old Brandon Brown was flown to a hospital in serious condition. The other worker, 19-year-old Robert Smith, was taken to the hospital with arm injuries.
