Walker scores 30 points while UNK men claim their third win in their last four games

Jake Walker, Senior Guard at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, reached a career height of 30 points, and the Lopers sank the season's top three three-point points on Thursday night in Pittsburg to beat the State of Pittsburg (85-75) .

The Lopers (5-7) won for the third time in four games and avenged the bigger and bigger Gorillas (5-7) a loss at a MIAA tournament in 2020.

Senior striker Austin Luger was working on a sprained ankle to play with other Loper posts nearly every 40 minutes taking care of nasty issues. UNK finished a rebound edge of 2-3 and plus 10 and finished 12 of 25 behind the arch. Pitt countered with a zone of his own that the Lopers eventually cut up.
