The Oklahoma Department of Health reported three more COVID-19 deaths in Pittsburg County on Jan. 22. For more information from OSDH, see the story.

Pittsburg County Risk Phase: Orange

This medium (orange) risk phase means there are many COVID-19 positive cases in the community, with undetected cases likely. The risk of infection is increased as it spreads in the community, and robust testing and containment measures are recommended to reduce further spread.

SITUATION UPDATE: COVID-19

This week there are 76 counties in Oklahoma at "Orange" risk level and one "Green" risk level for the COVID-19 risk level system. OSDH continues to closely monitor nationwide hospitalization trends for COVID-19.

The COVID-19 risk level system is updated every Friday in the situation update at 11:00 a.m. This week's card can be seen in this update under the test result table.

As OSDH continues to meet with stakeholders across the state, the COVID-19 alert card will continue to be revised as science and public health guidelines move forward with the ongoing pandemic.

As of this writing, there are 365,992 cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma.

2,564 is today's 7-day moving average for the number of newly reported cases.

One in Cleveland County, a man in the age group 50-64.
